    â??Honey,â?? I whispered. â??Remember how we talked about if I had something big to tell you to just reassure you that itâ??s going to be OK and weâ??ll roll with it?â?? Silence. â??Well, weâ??re going to have a baby.â?? More silence. The room was pitch black. Naturally, I waited until the last possible moment before my husband fell asleep before bringing this life-changing bit of information into his world. He paused, turned his head, and slowly asked, â??What KIND of baby?â?? He thought -- maybe even hoped -- I had adopted a puppy or kitten, but fortunately for both of us, we got something far better: a human baby that we love and cherish and can't imagine living life without!
